The agreement between you and Jountain when you use the site, apply to jobs, take a skills screen, or post a role.
By using Jountain you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Jountain on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can bind that company.
Jountain is a job platform: people search and apply to roles, write and read in the community, and may take skills screens. Companies create a company profile and post jobs. Jountain is provided as available. We work to keep listings and screens accurate, but we do not guarantee that every posting, salary range, or company description is complete or current. Verify important details with the employer.
You should not treat Jountain content as legal, immigration, or career advice.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
You may save jobs, submit applications, and maintain a profile (including resume and experience). You grant Jountain a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit the content you submit as needed to operate the service — including showing your application to the company that posted the role.
You agree that applications and screens you submit are your own work.
Jountain offers skills screens (assessments) on the Assessments page and, for some jobs, as a required step after you apply.
The purpose of a screen is to help companies filter for basic-skilled candidates for that kind of work. Completing a screen can improve the chance that your application is treated as complete and ready for review. It does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or any particular outcome.
You may complete a screen without applying. Completing a kind of screen (for example backend or brand) creates a badge on your profile. If you later apply to a job that uses that same kind of screen, Jountain may skip the assessment intro and treat that hiring step as already done.
Screens must be completed by you, on your own. Do not share questions or answers, collaborate, or use another person to take the screen. Unless we say otherwise, a screen is completed once per kind; we do not promise a retake.
Voice or short-answer tasks, timers, and similar rules shown on a screen are part of these terms for that screen.
Engineering screens may ask for a GitHub repository URL. You confirm you have the right to share that URL with Jountain and with employers reviewing your application.
If you post jobs or manage a company on Jountain, you agree to all of the following.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your company profile and each job post (title, description, location, pay range, and how to apply). You will not post unlawful, misleading, or discriminatory listings.
You agree that Jountain may attach a skills screen to a role for the purpose of filtering basic-skilled candidates. Candidates may take that screen from the Assessments catalog or as part of applying. You may use completion of the matching screen, and any screen material the product shares with you, only to evaluate applicants for that hiring process. You will not sell, scrape, or reuse candidate screen data for unrelated marketing or for a different employer.
You understand that completing a screen can improve the chance an application is treated as complete; it is a screening aid, not a certification Jountain warrants.
We may edit, refuse, or remove a job post or company profile that we believe is a poor fit, unlawful, or harmful to candidates. We are the sole judge of that decision.
You grant Jountain a license to display your company name, logo, and job content on the site.
Community posts, comments, and similar contributions are your responsibility. Do not post unlawful, harassing, or infringing material. Jountain hosts user content and is not the publisher of every third-party statement. We may remove content that violates these terms.
Feedback you send us (including error reports) may be used to improve Jountain without obligation to you.
Use Jountain only for lawful purposes. Do not scrape the service in a way that harms it, attempt to access other people’s accounts, interfere with skills screens, or reverse-engineer the product except as allowed by law.
Jountain is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted access.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jountain and the people who operate it are not liable for hiring decisions, lost offers, reliance on a listing or screen result, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify Jountain against claims arising from your content, your job posts, your use of candidate application or screen data, or your breach of these terms.
Information you send to Jountain is sent at your own risk. Keep your password safe.
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
